Dolphin, whale and turtle watching in Martinique
By observing dolphins and whales With the Shelltone Whale Project, you are helping to protect cetaceans and enabling enthusiasts to work with them on a daily basis at sea.
Our 1901 association, recognised as being of general interest for its scientific research on cetaceans and its environmental actions in the marine environment of the Agoa sanctuary in the West Indies, has enabled us to develop our respectful approach techniques.

Our unique approach allows you to experience these privileged moments in small groups, with a maximum of 12 passengers on board.
With 21 species identifiedThe coasts of Martinique are an ideal habitat for feeding, breeding and migrating marine mammals. The sheer numbers and diversity of resident and visiting populations guarantee a high probability of sightings and a richly emotional attraction for spectators.

Every day:
- 7.45am: search for and observation of dolphins and other marine animals
- 1.00 pm: turtle and dolphin watching and research
Each excursion lasts around 4 hours.
Departure is from Anse à l'Ane - Les Trois Ilets.
IMPORTANT
We welcome you on board to share our passion and experience.
Come aboard our specially designed boats to search for marine mammals in complete safety. Come and enjoy an extraordinary experience from Anse à l'âne Trois-Îlets. Swimwear is compulsory for this excursion, and other accessories such as flippers, masks and snorkels will be provided if you don't have your own.
Departure is at 7.45am from the pontoon at Anse à l'âne, Trois-Îlets, after which the captain will set course for the big blue! The crossing will pass through the bay of Fort de France, from Case Pilote to the Dominique canal. You'll enjoy the sea and the magnificent scenery of Martinique.
Some species of dolphin are sedentary and live all year round along our coasts, which means we can guarantee you over 90% to see them.
Keep an eye out for other species such as orcas and whales, depending on the time of year. After this emotion-filled moment, we'll offer you a break with a ti-punch and a swim. Then it's time to put on your mask and snorkel and discover sea turtles and exotic fish in brilliant colours. The return journey is scheduled for around 12 noon.

Participation in the costs of a half-day sea trip:

- 15 EUR for children aged 0 to 3.
The morning trip is reserved for observing dolphins and other animals present in our waters.
In the afternoon, you can swim in the turtles' natural habitat and watch the dolphins.
